Safeguarding

Safety is active, not decorative.

Mybe works with adults whose housing needs can be complex, chaotic and risk-heavy. Safeguarding therefore has to be visible, trained, recorded and escalated properly.

Professional support worker in a meeting

Daily contact, clear escalation and trained people.

We align safeguarding practice to local frameworks and make sure concerns do not sit unrecorded. Welfare checks, incident reporting and escalation routes are part of the operating model.

  • Enhanced DBS checks where required
  • Mandatory safeguarding training
  • Daily welfare checks
  • Incident reporting and escalation
  • Risk assessment and safety planning
  • Local partner working where appropriate

Resident safety

A practical approach for complex lives.

Safeguarding is supported by trauma-informed practice, harm reduction, low-demand engagement and clear professional boundaries.

Notice

Daily checks help identify deterioration, isolation, conflict, exploitation or immediate risk.

Record

Concerns are recorded with time, action, risk level and next steps.

Escalate

Safeguarding alerts and crisis responses follow agreed routes.
